Knee Physio, Forster

Knee pain shows up differently for everyone we see — a runner nursing patellar pain, a tradesperson whose knee gives them trouble on the tools, a grandparent who's stopped getting down on the floor to play with the grandkids. What they have in common is a knee that's lost capacity, and needs it rebuilt properly rather than just settled down.

We see knees affected by:

  • Meniscus tears and cartilage injuries

  • ACL injuries and post-reconstruction rehab

  • Patellofemoral pain and runner's knee

  • Osteoarthritis and general wear-related stiffness

  • Post-surgical recovery (scope, replacement, reconstruction)

Our approach

Most knee pain gets better with the right load, not just rest. We start with a proper assessment of how your knee moves and how much strength it can currently tolerate, then build a plan that progressively loads it back to full function — whether that's a return to running, getting through a full day on your feet, or simply walking without hesitation.

Because we're based inside Fortify Gym, the transition from clinical rehab to real strength training happens under one roof. There's no gap between "cleared by the physio" and "confident in the gym" — we bridge it directly.

What to expect

Your first session includes a full assessment of the knee and how it fits into your broader movement and strength, a clear explanation of what's actually going on, and a plan you can follow. Treatment modalities often commence in the first session, whether that’s soft tissue work, manipulation or dry needling.
