Low Back Pain Physio, Forster

Back pain is one of the most common reasons people come to see us — and one of the most misunderstood. Research consistently shows that pain intensity often has little correlation with tissue damage: a lot of the time, what you're feeling reflects a spine and surrounding muscles that haven't yet built the strength and capacity to handle everyday load, not structural harm that needs protecting. Our job is to assess that properly, explain what's actually driving your pain, and build that strength and capacity back up.

We help with:

  • New or acute low back pain

  • Persistent or recurring back pain

  • Sciatica and nerve-related leg pain

  • Disc-related pain

  • Degenerative conditions

  • Stiffness and reduced mobility with age

Our approach

We won't just hand you a sheet of stretches. We assess how your back is actually behaving under load, identify what's driving the pain, and build a strength-based plan to address it — paced appropriately whether you're an active tradesperson trying to get back to full duties or an older adult wanting to garden and travel without worry.

Being co-located with Fortify Gym means once you're ready to load up further, you can keep progressing your strength in the same space you did your rehab, with our team on hand.

What to expect

Expect a thorough initial assessment that gives you a clear picture of what's going on and why, plus a graded plan built around it — no guesswork, no generic exercise sheets. We'll often start hands-on treatment straight away too, to ease symptoms and get you moving while the bigger plan takes shape.
