Sports Physio, Forster

We treat sports and activity-related injuries a little differently to a traditional sports clinic. Rather than focusing purely on getting you back onto the field as fast as possible, we look at why the injury happened in the first place — usually a gap in strength or capacity somewhere in the chain — and close it, so you come back more resilient than before, not just patched up.

We treat:

  • Muscle strains and tears (hamstring, calf, quad)

  • Ankle sprains and instability

  • Tendon injuries (Achilles, patellar, rotator cuff)

  • Shoulder injuries from swimming, golf, tennis and gym training

  • Overuse and load-related injuries from running, cycling and team sport

Our approach

Whether you're a weekend sportsperson, a masters athlete, or someone getting back into activity after a long break, we build your rehab around real strength training principles — because strength is what actually protects you against re-injury, at any level of sport and any age.

This is where our home inside Fortify Gym matters most. Your return-to-sport program doesn't stop at "pain-free" — it continues into genuine strength and conditioning work, in the same facility, with the same team.

What to expect

An assessment that looks beyond the injury site to the movement patterns and strength gaps around it, and a return-to-sport plan with clear, measurable milestones.
